To celebrate Essence Festival's 30th Birthday, AT&T Dream in Black hosted a festive July 4th weekend experience that connected guests through culture. AT&T Dream in Black created a portal that ushered attendees through the the best parts of the 1990s, 2000s, 2020s and beyond with: The Connected Stage - a portal to connect with performances, panels and culture moments through a phone-native Jumbotron; an A.I. photo moment that backdropped customizable culturally relevant scenes from the decades; and giveaway premium merch that told the design story of the past 30 years.
Talent: Connecting Through Culture Panel with KevOnStage, Cari Champion and Affion Crockett, Arin Ray, Aux Cord Wars, Cory Townes, DJ Diamond Kuts, Jadakiss, Jeremih, Mýa, and R&B Money Podcast hosted by Tank and J. Valentine
Results: 103K+ impressions across touchpoints, The Connected Stage: 18 minutes average dwell time, 3,282 distributed premiums, 118 retail sales at SOKO MRKT
